I wanted to extend my sincere thanks to Jim Hebert for organizing and orchestrating my nephew Patrick's funeral. He was so caring and compassionate and everything was perfect. He was there to answer every question. He went above and beyond and he also had to work with an out of state funeral home to bring Pat Home. I cannot thank him enough! He made an extremely sad event a celebration of Pat's life. Thank you, Marie Barney
We know Mr. Taylor and everything we planned went very smoothly, His additional suggestions were very helpful and carried out to our satisfaction. His staff was also extremely helpful. We were all very happy.
I just wanted to thank you again for the beautiful final goodbye for my Mom. Everything was perfect!! Thanks again John,

John, Thank you for making what could have been a very difficult time, very beautiful and peaceful. So many people commented on the beautiful engraving of the casket and my mother looked beautiful. 'You are a miricle worker'. The addition of all your special touches were so important. Thank you from the bottom of my heart my friend. That's how you are. Your kind heart and generous soul have blessed so many people. Don't ever forget how much you mean.

John, thank you again for everything. After we had first communicated with you for just a short while, you gave my family great peace of mind, knowing that you would handle everything correctly and without any snafus....and you did. You are a true Professional and a very great person as well. I have no idea that it was possible for anyone to convey such depth, emotion and create such a beautiful sound with a bugle. That young woman was amazing. The U.S. Army Guard was outstanding and those moments of there participation in the Funeral Ceremony, I will never forget! Thank you, John..It was so meaningful, words fail me....thank you for all you did..
Warmly, Lisa Curry and the Family of Joseph R. Curry Past Headmaster of Cushing Academy, Ashburnham, MA

Dear John, I want you to know what a lovely job you did waking my Aunt Santina Ruberti. She looked so radiant and at peace. I will always remember that John. Words are hard to come by at a time like this, but I really wanted you to know how much I appreciated all you did. Please convey my thoughts to Walter and the rest of the staff also. Thank you for bringing some flowers to my mother at the Highlands. It sounds like little things, but you have a way of making them all personal…really.
God bless you and stay will, with much love and appreciation…
Dear John, How can our family ever thank you enough for all that you did for us after the recent passing of my dad, Arthur J. Blake Sr. From the moment my mother Lorraine and I entered Masciarelli Family Funeral Home until the second Richard returned us to our parent's home, we were treated with the utmost compassion and respect. Never once did I feel as if I was bothering you or your staff with my endless questions, but instead felt listed to and comforted. One of the worst periods of my life was made much more tolerable because of your caring ways. Your thoughtfulness in adding those beautiful medallions and imprinting my Dad's name on his casket touched our family beyond words. We were so impressed with how every little detail was thought of and taken care of. I can't tell you how many times I said to my Mom, 'I'm sure John will take care of it', and you always did.
John, there but a few people in this world that every find their true calling in life. You are one of the lucky few. I have never met a kinder man. Please keep doing exactly what you are doing. You are comforting in so many ways. Your father would be very proud of all you have accomplished.
God gave me two gifts the week of March 11, 2014. The first was being present holding my Dad's hand as my father drew his final breaths on this earth and the second was God leading me to Masciarelli Family Funeral Homes.
Thank you, Thank you!! With warmest regards, Cathy Andrews for the family of Arthur J. Blake Sr.
John, The English language does not contain the words needed to express our extreme gratitude to you for the heroic effort that you put forth to ensure that the Funeral services of Theresa Belli-Murchie would be perfect. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Be well, stay well and do well…
Sincerely, Peter and Mary Gravelle

Dear John, Thank you for your efforts on behalf of two of our residents that recently passed at our facility. You took the time to learn of their special circumstances and provided both with services to meet their needs.
I thank you for your willingness to explore possible resources to cover your expenses, while maintaining their dignity.
John, you have been a pleasure to work with and I thank you for everything.
Yvette Kondrotas Licensed Social Worker @ the Highlands Life Care Center

Sincerely, Jim and Kyle Pelletier and Family
Dear Amanda, At a time of such shock and sorrow over the unexpected death of my husband, Eugene Driscoll on 8/18/2014, you were a comfort to me and my family, assisting us in the planning and decision making regarding his Funeral services.
Your follow through and attention to every detail, insured us that our every need was met, at the calling hours, Funeral services and burial.
The church service was so beautiful. The Military honor guard and bugler you arranged for, honored the life of Gene, and gave us a sense of peace and pride, even though the weather stormed around us.
How fortunate for John to have you as a valued, competent, professional member, in the tradition of Masciarelli Family Funeral Homes.
My children and I, are so grateful that our farewell to our husband and father, was so memorable, beautiful, dignified and appropriate. Thank You,
Sincerely, Joan A. Driscoll and Family
Good morning John, I just want to take a moment to thank you for all your care, concern and help during the wake and funeral for Tom. I know that the family is very, very appreciative. The services which were provided by you and your staff were outstanding.
The family was in shock and not themselves at many times and you were able to help them feel at ease and comfortable.
Tom looked wonderful and just the way we remember him. Thank you for doing such a great job. Blessings on your skills!!
Once again, thank you for everything,
Sincerely, Judith A. Connolly and the Family of Thomas Crank
Dear John & Walter,
I have worked with John as an on-call Chaplain for the past six years, serving his client families in grief support and creating and facilitating customized Funerals for deceased loved ones. John and his team are the essence of caring, compassionate Funeral professionals. Our community is blessed to have John and his staff as a resource in their time of greatest need.
Sincerely, Rev. Mary Ann Barry Ordained Interfaith Minister
To John Masciarelli and Staff,
I would like to take this time to thank all the people who paid their respect to my brother, Keith, who died of injuries received in a car accident on March 13. The outpouring of comfort and compassion toward my family was overwhelming. I'd like to thank the Intensive Care Unit at UMass Medical Center, Worcester, for their incredible time and effort in affording Keith the best medical care around. Also, I'd like to give credit to the Fitchburg Fire Department who responded so quickly to the accident scene. A special thanks to firefighters Martin Maynard, Jimmy Marabell and Brian Belliveau who comforted my brother despite his massive injuries.
The Smith-Mallahy-Masciarelli Funeral Home performed magnificently during our family's time of need. Thank you for being so helpful and generous with your facilities and more importantly, your staff.
In closing, I would just like people to know that a lot of good came from by brother's untimely death. People were kind, generous, and thoughtful. Although we consider Keith's death part of God's ultimate plan, my family will never forget the abundance of love and compassion shown by the good people from the Fitchburg/Leominster area. As Keith would say, Semper fi.
Sincerely, The family of Keith E. Keating
Dear John, Thank you for helping us through all the arrangements for Rita's calling hours and Funeral Mass. It was difficult for us to see the last of the O'Neill family leave us. John, you gave us comfort by making Rita look so lovely and at peace. We were happy everyone could remember her that way. Thanks again for everything. We appreciated all you did.
Dear John, Special thanks for your professional services as our Funeral Director. Your personal interest and care for the family was beyond expectation. Military Honors that you organized at the graveside by the U.S. Airforce was magnificent and what a beautiful Funeral ceremony. We are all deeply touched and I'm sure our father would have been honored.
While many thought Kenny lived too long, he was a brave man and decided long ago to continue his life, despite his disease. I realized it would be a difficult journey and decided not to let him travel alone. Thus, I cared for him for many years.
I cannot express my appreciation enough for the respect you have shown me. Not one kind gesture on your part was overlooked. You left me with many wonderful memories of my father and I thank you.
Sincerely, Patricia Progin
Dear John & Staff @ Masciarelli Family Funeral Homes Our family would like to express our deepest gratitude to you for the amazing and beautiful services that you provided to us for our dear mother, Eileen. Every detail from beginning to end was both professional and compassionate.
The preparation of our mother was perfect.
For those of us with faith, life has changed, but not ended. We will be together again!
In appreciation, Ed, Karen and Bill Alleva
Dear John You made him Jack proud! He never cared for bells and whistles and any fuss. Simple and elegant was his goal. You made that happen along with Walter and Jimmy, who was the perfect driver to take Jack one more time across the 5th Street Bridge. Thank you, John, from all of us.
Sincerely, Mrs. Ann O'Connor and Family
John and Walter I have served as the Pastor of the First Congregation al Church of Westminster for five year. On this coming Sunday, May 15th I will be retiring from the active ministry after 40 years, having served in 6 churches in new England. These last five years have been a real blessing in my life.
The reason for this letter is to let you know how much Walter taylor has meant to me and our church family. Walter is the finest funeral director I have worked with in all my 40 years of ministry. He is compassionate and caring when he meets with grieving family members. His presence during funeral services in my church has allowed me to do my ministry without worry and concern. He happily agree to meet at the funeral home with the youth in our Confirmation classes through the years answering their questions and explaining what happens in the funeral home. This was so helpful in allaying fears and the unknown for youth who were beginning to lose family members such as grandparents or sadly, fellow classmates. In addition, four years ago Walter shared in the leadership of a program after church during which I introduced a booklet prepared with our Diaconate entitled "A Guide Funeral and Memorial Services."
Words Cannot express my gratitude for Waltr and his caring gifts and in a sense "ministry" to this church and indeed our whole community of Westminster and beyond.
John and Walter We would like to thank you so much for your recent wonderful service for our loved one. It was just lovely! The little things meant so much to us. Everything was taken care of from the time you took are coats as we entered, and always checking on us to see if everything was OK at the wake. The Funeral Home décor was so elegant, the music, warmth, the soft and toasty lighting, atmosphere, and the arrangement of flowers around the casket was splendid. Last but not least, was your gentleness and feeling of comfort that you all portrayed? My mother was so beautiful in her pink dress and her fingernails were painted to match with earrings and pin. You made her look so lovely. We sincerely thank you and are truly appreciative of all that you did.
John Just a little note to thank you both for giving our confirmation class some of your precious time again this year. Deacon John and I were very impressed with your presentation involving Funerals and everything that it entails. You both were honest and realistic, and most informational. We have watched you Business grow over the years and now we no why. We have received very positive feedback form students and parents. They all feel that this is an invaluable experience for their teenagers. This experience and information will be something they can use in their futures, because death is a part of life, and it might make a difficult time a little easier for them because they understand the process a little better. Again thank you and we look forward to next year's class.
Sincerely, Monsignor Richard Collette Deacon John Aliskevicz
John Thank you again for everything you and your wonderful staff have done for us!! We certainly appreciate the comfort and understanding of Walter Taylor, the Funeral Director that served us in the Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home. He and the rest of your staff were outstanding as is your beautiful Funeral Home in Westminster. It fits right into that town. We would recommend your Funeral Services to everyone!
Love, Betsy, Dick, Bon, Sharon, Kevin
John On behalf of my father and brother, I would like to thank you for the outstanding services you provided for my mother's Funeral. As you know, the stress and discomfort level at such times can be somewhat overwhelming. Your sincere condolences, attention to detail and very professional manner provided us with a level of comfort and solace.
Very Truly Yours, Alan R. Cormier
John, It seems that for as long as I can remember, anytime my family has had to deal with grief, you have always been there providing help and support. There is a world of difference between a mutually beneficial business transaction and a compassionate, understanding exchange of information and services. Thank you for your balance between business and personal problems.
Sincerely, John Rogers
John When I first sat with you to discuss the arrangements for my father, I was unsure if you were actually as good as you sounded or if you were just sounding. But, the proof is in the pudding so to speak and you and you staff are exactly what you profess to be, Excellent! Any concerns I had about how to do all that had to be done were quickly put to rest by you and your staff. My family and I send our deepest thanks for all you did to make this loss easier to bear.
Sincerely, the Darcy Family
John Words could never express how grateful we are that my husband made his Funeral arrangements with Masciarelli Family Funeral Homes. For my very first Funeral experience, and of course, our children, you and your staff made it so we barely had to blink. You and your staff are extraordinary people.
Thank So Much, Roberta and Family
John I received the map you sent me which shows the location of my grandparent's graves in Laurel Hill Cemetery. I certainly appreciate your help. It is so unusual to receive this kind of service today, especially since our family used a facility you did not even own at the time of my grandparent's deaths. I am at the age where friends are dealing with their parents deaths and have had terrible service from large Corporate Funeral owned facilities, because of their monopoly in many large cities. You have provided the kind of service to me, everyone in the service industry learn from. I have worked for Hilton Hotels almost 25 years and our business is service, but we encounter many hurdles in delivering the kind of service you provided for me. You went the extra mile to help.
Sincerely, Bruce R. Hayden
John, On behalf of the entire Gallo family, I wanted to take a few minutes to send a note of thanks to you for all your efforts during the recent passing of Aunt Mary. On a business level I commend you for the expert coordination and attention to detail throughout the Wake and Funeral. Things could not have worked more smoothly. The professionalism displayed by your entire team was recognized and well received. Please pass our gratitude on to your entire staff for making us as comfortable as possible. On a personal level, I want to thank you for the "special" attention given to this family. Allowing us the freedom to dress up the viewing room and the support and encouragement you showed us was very much appreciated. Your cordial approach throughout the process certainly helped take some of the edge off and always difficult event. You went well beyond every effort to make things as perfect as possible and for that we will always be grateful. We consider you an extension of our family and will always remember you're helping hand in giving Aunt Mary an appropriate as well as memorable send off.
Dear John, Thank you so much for your attention to detail in relation to my Aunt's Funeral. Your choice of Rev. Mary Ann especially was just the right match. Her quirkiness jore de vie, and compassion were exactly what Louise would have chosen, but she would not have even been there except for your intuitive choices. I feel you knew Louise well!! Thank you for your guidance.
Dear John and Staff, We can not begin to express out thanks for all you did to make our mom's Funeral services the beautiful and fitting tribute she so deserved. We all felt so "At Home" at your Funeral Home--the most perfect final gift we could have given her. Having you there, John, added much to our comfort level.
Our thanks and love, Rose, Card, Sam and Connie Ramondelli

We appreciate and are grateful to you and all your staff. THANK YOU doesn't say it all, but it starts to let you know how very much your kindness touched our hearts.

I just wanted to express my gratitude and appreciation for all of your help and guidance. It was a difficult time however your genuine kindness and timely responses to my and my aunts questions and concerns made the experience bearable. My aunt has also shared how kind and gentle you were with her and expressed deep gratitude. If you are ever in North Carolina feel free to look me up and I will take you for a thank you dinner. Best wishes and warm regards
It seems impossible but it has been almost 8 months since you took such good care of my Gary. I am sure Gary is proud of the beautiful services you provided us with. As silly as it may sound I cannot tell you how many people commented on how beautiful Gary's casket was. Especially his fellow veteran friends. Thank you for your guidance with everything. Yesterday was the first time, I watched the video you put together and it is beautiful you reflected him so well. I felt like you knew him. I know that also made him proud. You have a gift in the very difficult profession you have and you do it wonderfully. I am sorry it has taken me so long to than you, your guidance made a very difficult time a little more bearable. I will forever be grateful for all you have done for us. especially Gary. I will cherish the video forever.
