Patricia F. Gadoury 80
Fitchburg: Patricia F. (Daughney) Gadoury, 80, a resident of Fitchburg, died Friday, June 9, in UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, after an illness.
Patricia was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Robert J. Gadoury Sr. who died in 1996 and her sister, Phyllis A. Hoy of Arkansas in 2012.
She is survived by two daughters, Robin E. Cormier and her husband, Reginald of Fitchburg and Dawn M. McPhee and her husband, Steven of Ashby, MA; and one son, Robert J. Gadoury Jr. of Wesley Chapel, FL; her five grandchildren, Kimberly Clark of Ashby, Nicholas McPhee of Ashburnham, Lindsay, Ryan and Ashley Cormier of Fitchburg and five great-grandchildren, Madison, Jillian and Jack Clark of Ashby, Ryan J. Cormier II (RJ) of Fitchburg and Blake McPhee of Ashburnham; and her niece, Melody A. Dennis of Flippin, Arkansas.
Patricia attended Fitchburg High School. She was a quiet, private person who loved lobster rolls, watching murder mysteries and looking through cookbooks and magazines for recipes. She loved being with her grandchildren, fishing and spending time at the ocean. Patricia worked at the former Sanitoy Inc. in Fitchburg on the assembly line for several years prior to retiring.
She was born in Fitchburg, on May 14, 1937, a daughter of the late John and Helen (Seliga) Daughney and lived in Fitchburg most of her life.
Funeral services and interment are private. There are no calling hours.
