Obituary

Westminster-Aino Linnea “Honey” (Hintala) Butterfield, 87, died Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Wachusett Manor after an illness.

Honey leaves her husband, Stuart C. Butterfield; one son, Vance Butterfield and his wife Sandra of Westminster; one daughter, Nadine Connor of Westminster; one grandson, Kyle Butterfield and his wife Charisa of Westminster; three granddaughters, Alyssa Gonzalez and her husband Bryan of Gardner, Heather Willyard of Westminster and Stephanie Wrona and her husband Dan of NH; five great-grandchildren, Riley Butterfield, Mason Gonzalez, Deacon Gonzalez, Bailey Willyard, Phoenix Gonzalez; and one niece, Eileen Hecht of Delaware.

Honey was born in Westminster on March 2, 1930 a daughter of the late Eino and Aino A. (Masalin) Hintala. She worked as a dental assistant. She was a life long resident of Westminster.

Honey’s family would like to extend a very special thank you to all the staff at the Wachusett Manor for the excellent care and compassion given to her over the past few years.

Private graveside services for the family will be held on Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Woodside Cemetery, 9 Narrows Road Westminster, MA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.

The Westminster Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 123 Main Street, Westminster has been entrusted with Honey’s funeral arrangements.
