Fitchburg-Christopher John Brennan, 50, died unexpectedly in the comfort of his home on Saturday, August 19, 2017.
Christopher leaves his mother, Bonita (McDermott) Brennan of Fitchburg; his father, Heywood Brennan of Leominster; one sister, Karen Brennan of Fitchburg; two brothers, Patrick Brennan of Fitchburg and Vincent Brennan and his wife Siobhan of Burlington, VT; eight nieces and nephews; 10 great-nieces and great-nephews; five aunts whom he loved dearly and several cousins.
Chris was born in Fitchburg on February 10, 1967. He was a 1986 graduate of Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, obtaining a trade in plumbing and heating. This was a life passion of his. He spent most of his career with Leominster Plumbing and Heating.
Chris had many longtime close friends who shared great memories of his, Dan, Chad, Eric, Kenny and Jon just to name a few. He was an avid bird watcher, fisherman and he loved to go hiking. Chris always had a great love of animals, especially his dog Nico. All who knew him would say, “He would give you the shirt of his back”. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A celebration of Chris’ life will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 3:00 -7:00 p.m. at the American Legion Post, 200 Daniels Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420.
