Jason Swihart, 45, died Friday, July 10, 2020 at his home from complications of a heart condition.

He leaves his mother and stepfather, Mary E. (Colburn) and Kenny Holmquist of Ashburnham; four sisters, Misty Powers of CT. Whitney Concannon of Gardner, Caisey Swihart of Fitchburg and Randi Swihart of Amesbury; six nieces and nephews, Taylor, Tanner, Madison, Mackenzie, Payton and Trevor; one grandnephew, Mason; his stepmother, Diane Swihart; an uncle, Russell Coburn and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jason is predeceased by his father, Larry Swihart who died July 29, 2010, a brother, Matthew Casassa who died on June 14, 2002 and a nephew, Justin Powers, who died September 15, 2009.

He was a 1993 graduate of Oakmont Regional High School. He graduated from UMass Amherst with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and from UNH with a masters in Sports Management. He had formerly worked with his father at F & M Towing in Westminster and had currently been working for Prime Toyota in Roxbury in automobile sales.

Jason enjoyed going to concerts, plays, wrestling matches, going to the movies, going out with his friends and playing corn hole. Jason viewed the world like no other and his photography showed how much he appreciated it. He specifically bought a new phone so to capture better photos, we always knocked him for the android. His word was his bond, he was a comedian at his finest hours. He cherished his time wisely with those he loved and surrounded himself with great energy all while giving us all the great energy he put into our lives. He loved to travel cross-country to see the Red Sox and the Patriots play and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
