Elaine M. (Gallant) Quigley, 80
Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother

Leominster-Elaine M. (Gallant) Quigley, 80, died peacefully Friday afternoon, May 14, 2021 in HealthAllince Hospital Leominster after an illness.

   Elaine was born in Leominster on June 1, 1940 a daughter of the late Willie and Irma (Richard) Gallant.  She lived in Lunenburg for many years, moved to Winchendon for over 20 years and eventually settled back to Leominster after her husband of 40 years, John Quigley died in 2003.

   Elaine will be lovingly remembered by her five children, John Quigley of Fall River, MA, Kim Crawford of Lunenburg, MA, Kathleen Quigley of Leominster, MA, Karen Wallace and her husband Scott of Attleboro, MA and Katelynn Dunphy of Jefferson, MA; seven grandchildren, Peter Crawford, Jr., Allison Quigley, Justin Quigley, Camron Quigley, Emma Quigley, Dylan Wallace and Stephanie Wallace; four great-grandchildren, John Crawford, Kyngston Crawford, Troy Crawford and Peter Crawford III; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Elaine was predeceased by six siblings; Joan Beaudet, Lorraine Boisse, Teresa Cassey, George Paul Gallant, Pete Gallant and Ronald Gallant.

   Elaine worked in the cafeteria of Lunenburg Elementary School for many years.  She was an avid reader, enjoyed making puzzles, solving crosswords and playing bingo in her younger years.  Most of all Elaine enjoyed all the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

   You are invited to attend visiting hours in the Lunenburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 763 Massachusetts Ave. Lunenburg, on Tuesday May 18, 2021 from 5-7PM.  Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Wednesday May 19, 2021 at 9AM with a funeral Mass at 10AM in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St. Leominster.  Burial will follow in North Cemetery, Lunenburg. 

  In lieu of flowers the family kindly asks memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St. Framingham, Ma 01701 or to the American Diabetes Association, 260 Cochituate Rd. #200 Framingham, MA 01701.
