Beloved Sister and Aunt
Fitchburg-Anna M. “Anna Bell” Coleman, 88 died Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Sterling Village after an illness.
She leaves three brothers, Robert Coleman, Jr of Ashburnham, Phillip D. Coleman and his wife Janet of Lancaster and Thomas L. Coleman and his wife Dottie of Methuen and many nieces and nephews.
Anna is predeceased by four brothers, Donald W. Coleman, John H. Coleman, Carl J. Coleman and Richard “Dickie” Coleman and two sisters, Mary R. Dugas and Patricia Phelan.
She was born in Fitchburg on February 24, 1932 a daughter of the late Robert C. and Anna M. (Fitzpatrick) Coleman Sr. She attended Fitchburg High School and a lifelong member of St. Bernard Parish. She worked for Sterlite for 50 years which she absolutely loved. She was her niece Chandra’s caretaker for many years. Her nieces and nephews were like her own children. Anna’s great passion was playing bingo.
Funeral services will be held on February 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 84 Salem Street, Fitchburg, MA 01420.
There are no calling hours.
Burial will follow in the St. Bernard Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Anna’s name to Our Fathers House Inc, P.O. Box 7251, Fitchburg, MA 01420.
