Helen Natalie (Fair) Morse 86
Fitchburg: Helen Natalie (Fair) Morse, 86, died Monday, Nov. 19, in her home, after a long illness.
Her husband of 47 years, Donald P. Morse, died in 1993.
She leaves three sons, Donald P. Morse, and his wife, Phyllis, of Ashland, MA, Michael K. Morse, and his wife, Barbara, of San Antonio, TX, Ralph P. Morse, and his wife, Patricia, of Townsend, MA; five daughters, Maureen S. Smith of Fitchburg, Kathleen M. Morse, and her husband, Dick, of Bradenton, FL, Natalie A. Barclay, and her husband, James, of Dracut, MA, Jacqueline M. Spinetta, and her husband, Robert, of Reno, NV and Christine Simonds, and her husband, Kenneth, of Princeton, MA; one brother, Robert Fair of Framingham, MA; one sister, Jacqueline McGuire of Sudbury, MA; 12 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson and several niece and nephews.
Mrs. Morse was an active member of Our Lady of the Lake Parish in Leominster, was very active and served as a past President of the Eagle House Senior Center in Lunenburg, was an accomplished water color painter, served 30 years as a volunteer and active donator of blood for the American Red Cross, served as an election warden for the City of Fitchburg for many years and was an avid sports enthusiast. She was a 1944 graduate of the Academy of the Assumption in Wellesley, MA.
She was born in Winthrop, MA, on March 12, 1926, a daughter of the late Ralph and Gertrude M. (Hallem) Fair.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 9 at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St., Leominster.
Interment will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne, MA.
There are no calling hours.
