Fitchburg: Angela C. (Farinelli) Membrino, 96, a longtime Fitchburg resident, died Thursday , Feb.7, in the Golden Living Center, after a long illness.
Her husband of 43 years, Charles J. Membrino, died in 1983.
She leaves one sister, Gloria Barker of Leominster and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by five brothers, Daniel, John, Joseph, Charles and James Farinelli and two sisters, Nancy Shane and Lucy Barone.
Mrs. Membrino owned Membrino's Market on Lunenburg St., Fitchburg, for many years. She was a well know Italian cook and was known for her Italian Booth at the Burbank Hospital Fair each year and for her cooking show on FATV and W.E.I.M.
She was an active life long member of St. Anthony di Padua Parish in Fitchburg.
She was born in Leominster, on August 26, 1914, a daughter of the late Angelo and Loretta (Patore) Farinelli.
Angie's Funeral will be celebrated on Tuesday, Feb. 12, from the Smith-Mallahy-Masciarelli and Fitchburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Home, 243 Water St., Fitchburg, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Anthony di Padua Church, 84 Salem St., Fitchburg.
Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Fitchburg.
Calling hours are on Tuesday, Feb. 12, from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
